Jones on his motivation to work with cancer patients:“Providers in the next century will likely refer to this time in history as the “Golden Age” of cancer therapy. The volume of new, impactful therapies available to treat our patients is only matched by the sense of hope and optimism these therapies provide. Lives are being extended, cures are being achieved, and patients are living better with their diseases. However, no matter how great the advances in technology become, there will continue to be a place for a compassionate, caring physician who has the ability to guide patients along the peaks and valleys of their cancer journey. The science of cancer care is fascinating, but it is the privilege of caring for patients who are the most ill, the most vulnerable, and the most in need which is truly rewarding. Looking to the example of the Great Physician, I endeavor to humbly serve with wisdom and humanity.“ Located AtLength of Tenure with Alabama OncologyJoined in July, 2016 Board CertificationsABIM Board Certified Internal Medicine, 2013Medical Oncology Subspecialty Board, 2016Hematology Subspecialty Board, 2016 EducationAuburn University, B.S.
